WATER CAN CHANGE A LIFE

SUPPORTS HEALTH, INCOME AND EDUCATION.

ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER IMPROVES LIVES

With a population of 53 million, 28 million Kenyans lack access to safe water and 41 million lack access to improved sanitation. Growing water demand and water scarcity are a continued challenge.
The majority of these challenges are in rural areas affecting women who spend hours collecting water for their families. Not only does walking for water keep children out of school or take up time that parents could be using to earn money, the water often carries diseases that can make people sick.
Climate change, drought, population growth, urbanization, water pollution and poor management of water resources have contributed to the issue of the water crisis, which effects economic growth, food scarcity, health, and education.
The answer to many of the challenges faced in rural Kenya is access to clean water. Not only is water a basic necessity no one should go without, water improves lives. Together, we can help fight the water crisis.

EDUCATION BUILDS EMPOWERMENT AND OPPORTUNITY

In many rural areas in Kenya, students lack adequate structures to be educated. Many children are taught in crowded classrooms or outside in harsh conditions.
We are partnering with communities and local governments in building classrooms to improve attendance and quality of education.
Helping communities achieve their educational goals will unlock child potential and provide a save place to learn and grow. Our programs help alleviate the burden of access to an education and foster a brighter future.
